AKOKA Design is founded by Afroviti Koka. She was passionate since childhood for visual arts. With an academic background in communication, public relations and international relations pushed her to see her passion and talent for creating forms through the prism of building a business with vision to expand it worldwide.
“The inspiration to create this brand and design one by one the jewels started during the period of my first pregnancy with my son. It has been one of the richest spiritual and artistic periods of my life.
I have always been closely associated with the visual arts & artistic world, inherited this gift from my father. Some of the masters where I took inspiration from, Gustav Klimt, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Jackson Pollock.
It all started sketching every piece in my homestudio, a dream which very soon was sustained with ambition and clear vision. I am very grateful to my collaborators, those who never saw me as a client but as an integral part of our joint project.
Many thanks to the masters of Italian Jewelry. They perceived my vision and made it a reality. Every part of our collections is handcrafted with care by artisans in Tuscany.
Albania teaches me the discipline and the ambition to show that Albanian women are hardworking & always succeed. Italy has always been and is an oasis of creativity and inspiration, a second home for me, a great love with whom I grew up.
Creating this pieces one by one gave me moments of bliss and fullfillment, I really hope this energy will flow with the design to each one of you. “
